We are currently looking for volunteers for the following research studies:

Predicting Adolescent Transition after Hospitalization (PATH) Study

We are conducting a research study to examine predictors of teen outcomes after acute psychiatric treatment. Participants must be admitted to Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital’s partial or inpatient units, be between 13 and 17 years of age, and participate with their parent or guardian. Teens can receive up to $295, and parents can receive up to $75 for participating. Happy Families Study

Mothers and their children (ages 8-12) are needed for a study testing a new intervention to try to prevent the development of depression in children. You may be eligible if you are a mother and have experienced symptoms of depression at some time in your life. Families will be paid up to $390 for their participation. Pregnancy to Parenthood Study

We are recruiting pregnant people for our study focused on changes in emotions and mental health during and after pregnancy. Eligible participants can be paid up to $595 for their participation. Cultural Adaptation of Positive Emotion Intervention (COPE)

We are recruiting Chinese international students who are full-time undergraduate or graduate students between 18 and 35 years old. If you are interested in participating, please email us at yinru.long@vanderbilt.edu or yipeng.zhang@vanderbilt.edu.


Adolescent Study

Parents and their teens (age 14-17 years) are needed for a study of emotions and mental health. Teens and parents will be paid up to $85 for their participation.
